Euroclear Collateral Optimisation Service

This new service brings to the market the combined expertise of Euroclear and Transcend, two world leaders in their respective fields. Euroclear’s decades of collateral management experience, data and infrastructure combined with Transcend’s best-in-class optimisation platform provides an unbeatable solution for your growing collateral optimisation needs.

The new Euroclear Collateral Optimisation Service will have two service levels to choose from and be available through existing Euroclear connectivity, easily integrating the critical data needed for smart decision making and subsequently settle optimised collateral allocations. Combining Euroclear’s infrastructure and data with Transcend’s technology, service users will be able to configure their own bespoke optimisation scenarios, include external collateral pools too to determine the best collateral use at Euroclear and perform 'what-if' analyses based on user defined specific constraints.  Multiple scenarios can be run until the optimal solution for any given scenario is reached, and then the scenario can be executed and the associated collateral movements ultimately settled by Euroclear when instructed to do so.

Euroclear Collateral Optimisation Service has a service level suited to all user’s need, flexible and bespoke.  

The Basic service, still a comprehensive solution using Euroclear data provides full scenario analysis and execution using familiar Collateral Highway criteria. 

The Full service takes advantage of all the components of the Basic service, but with additional features and benefits.  The Full service enables users to add external data on collateral held outside the Euroclear ecosystem and include it in optimisation scenarios, resulting in truly global collateral optimisation. The scenarios can still be executed in Euroclear Bank and other venues; not just scenario analysis, but executable insights.

Access to Euroclear Collateral Optimisation Service is covered by a service agreement fully integrated into the existing Euroclear Collateral Highway legal and operational framework. The Euroclear Collateral Optimisation Service interface is accessed via existing EasyWay connectivity, with Euroclear handling any Euroclear-based data set up required.
