Ed Donald

Managing Director, Global Head of Repo & Collateral Trading, Standard Chartered

Ed Donald works at Standard Chartered Bank based in London. He is a Managing Director and Global Head of Repo & Collateral Trading.  This is a global business that has seen significant growth since its inception in 2013 and has emphasis and specialization on servicing clients across the banks footprint markets, Asia, Middle East and Africa.   

He joined the bank in Singapore during 2013 and prior to that Ed was at ING Bank London as Managing Director, Co-Global Head of International Financing and Funding since 2010.  He joined ING originally in 2008 as Head of GSF, Asia based in Singapore before moving to Amsterdam for a short period and then back to London.  Prior to that Ed worked at ABN AMRO bank in London.  

He started his career at Bankers Trust having graduated from University of Sussex, before moving to Deutsche Bank London in 1999 where he worked in Sales and Trading.  Over the years Ed has been part of various collateral user Forums including Euroclear, ASFIMA Secured Funding Markets Committee which he chaired for a number of years and was previously a member of the ERC for several years.
